MOT today

Bit worried about it coz I think it's going to fail on brake pads. Though the garage owners are friends of my parents so they should ring me and ask me if I want them replaced.

How much a brake pads normally? I've not had them done whilst I've had the car.

Pads are cheap enough under £20.

Fitment say 1 hours labour.

it willmonly fail if the brakes don't work to a good enough degree doens't matter if there worn a lot.

Why people take their cars for an MOT when they " expect " it to fail is beyond me especially for the sake of a few quid on some new brake pads !

im sure they would rign you beforehand if there was naythign wrong bearing in mind they are friends of your parents

Well I can't do it myself and the pads have only been funny for the past couple of days

Wahey, mines just passed aswel. Although it broke the emissions machine again, not sure what it is with my car and trying to get a reading..
