Juddering when moving off!?

does something need to be done to the flywheel when putting a new clutch in ? Take/machine a slight bit off i've heard ?

not to spam or anything but i get a some judderring in 1st, sometimes 2nd gear when first taking off. only really happens when weather is cold but im able to limit the judder ( and sometimes prevent it) just by releasing the clutch a bit slower. am i looking at a clutch replacement fairly soon or is it a gearboc issue. car has 92k btw

Ive just had my clutch changed and now my Clio has developed this fault!

As well as the juddering when pulling off (at the biting point) ive also noticed when my foot is down fully on the clutch and i hit a bump in the road ive got a metal on metal knock.

The solution above is the clutch plate springs, surely this would have been changed during the new clutch being fitted?

that sounds very much like something hasn't been tightened properly, Maybe an engine mount...???

As i said previously, I had this issue in 1st and second too, with the juddering, but mine was regardless of weather. To be honest GDI did say that it would have been fine if it wasnt changed, it wasnt going to go bang or anything, but its was more annoying to me than anything, so I had it sorted.

mine old dynamique used to judder when pulling away and also when changing down from 3rd to 2nd when slowing down!

i replaced both flywheel and clutch and it seemed to solve the problem
