just got some new rear disks so i will need to have some bearings pressed into them, can i use the old bearings and just repress them, also does anyone have a guide for doing all of this?

cool, erm let me see how much i can get them in for mate, if not as Laura said GSF, or any local motorfactor can supply them

has anyone a part number for gsf for a rear left wheel bearing?

not 100% which is the right one

thanks

chances are you will shag the old bearings getting them out. There only around a tener a piece so may aswell have new ones

i had a wheel bearing go on mine not long back, paid sum bloke 40£ to have it pressed =] cost me 20£ for the part tho, no worrys therre 60£ in stead of the 100£ + i was getting quoted =]

GSF supplied me very good quality bearings when i did some for bomber. iirc they had several choices. Cheap ones around 9 quid and skf ones for something like 18

I found out that one of the cheapest places to buy a bearing from is GSF parts. The part number is VKBA969 which is £21.95+VAT. However when calling them they didn't have any in stock so i bought a clio substitute they recommended to me which came in at just under £17 inc VAT.

read post no. 11 on this thread :)

hmm, bit far. any local parts place to you? partco, eurocar parts etc. Just make sure they are quality ones and not chocolate

there is a little car parts place in shepton yeah

i am not in a desperate rush to get them anyways mate, as said these are being fitted for work reasons so i would think they will be charged to them also.

Oh I didnt know they were work related, wondered why you had chosen these rather than brembo/ferrodo.

Hence my comments

got to sort these bearings asap now and the above part number doesn't work......

anybody any other ideas?

Local dealers and parts suppliers will have the part numbers and more importantly price

then again I'd just buy renault ones I've seen some right rubish new stuff from being sold from big name places
