It's quite a common fault but I can't remember exactly what causes it TBH. No doubt someone else will be along to help shortly. Mine has done it numerous times.
The alarm is still receiving signals from the ECU telling it the ignition is still on. Usually happens if you switch off, get out and lock the car too quickly. The signal is only received by the alarm for a few seconds, hence why you get a few beeps.
It can only be resolved at a Renault dealer. Ask the dealer to contact the 'Renault alarm help line' and quote reference
'RS+15'.
I've had a problem the other way around too. You have a passenger waiting to get in as you approach the car. Unlock it, and they pull the handle too soon and the alarm goes off. You'd think the electronics would disarm the alarm before unlocking the bloody doors
does anyoen know what 'RS+15'. actually involves doing. Has anyone got a technical note on it. I seem to recall relocating a earth or something or a live wire?
