As title really, want a headunit that supports bluetooth and needs ipod compability. Got an Alpine currently with ipod and its great, worth sticking with Alpine?

Cheers

Looks a good unit but the bluetooth adaptor seems to be an additional £75 which puts it out my price range really :(

A new alpine cde-103bt or 104bti they are slightly more than what you want to spend ranging from £229.95 but they have the new parrot bluetooth technology and are far better than the older alpine bluetooth and are just plug and play

Exactly my answer. Old alpine bluetooth kits are not great tbh and dont connect with alot of new phones. The two units above tho are perfect with 99.9 phones out there including the iphone 3g :) ive fitted 26 since they were released :)

Looking at the alpines posted, none have official ipod support....does this matter? Will they still support ipod?

I think i already have the correct cable as my current alpine is an ipod one which is good news
