Mk2 rear lights on a MK1 - wiring

I am just about to put a set of Mk 2 rear lights onto my Mk 1, I know quiet a few people have done this and a few mods to the wiring is required. Can anyone tell me which of the colours need to be switched around before I attempt it by trial and error? cheers

Just dont ask Fred and Wayne to do it. I still think mine indicates when Im really braking.

It also puts yer fog lights on when ya reverse..

hehe did you know we put multi-coloured bulbs in too, your brake lights are green

Hi those links don't seem to be working anymore... Can anyone help me on this, wanting to fit mk2 lights to my Mk1 V6.

One of the best things I ever did was to junk the plain boring rear lights for the mk2's.
