16v to 172 costs

Hi, except for insurance will a standard 172 cost any more to run and maintain than my 16v?

in my 3-4 years of ownership i have done.

Cambelt service, Discs + pads all round (im just about to replace the fronts next month) 2 sets of tyres

Compared to my 1.2 dynam fuel usage/cost doubled

Nope. Tbh theres little difference between a 1.2 and 172 other than insurance.

as far as I know the only real extra cost of a 172 over a valver is making sure the belts are done when due
