If I remove rear seats, parcel shelf etc....

If you remove weight ur car is obv going to look higher? Coilovers are the anser

I meant will it look silly high?

What I'm getting at I suppose is this; By stripping the rear am I going to open up a can of worms and end up spending money? i.e. on coillies etc

I will dig out a pic of my stripped W plate 172.

I could have walked under it! lol. Hold on.....

I deleted the rest. :(

Rear seats wont make it too bad, but if you take the parcel shelf out...

...You can be expecting bin laden arches

:D

the reason i said rear seat and parcel shelf was so that people would see that I wasn't planning on completely stripping the rear of everything :rasp:

haven't the old 172s got the rear torsion bar setup, correct me if i'm wrong
didn't all Clio 2s have the same?

I get confused when people talk about anti roll bar for the rear - the rear suspension seems to be fully dependant so there's no need for an anti roll bar at the rear?

Mk1 phs 1 2 3 - aka Williams, 16v etc all have torsion bar setup

Mk2 phs 1 2 3? have a mcphearson strut and spring setup all round with a rear beam.
