Well here it is. My Watercooling setup is now complete and is currently running a leak test :).

I am really pleased with the way things went and there were no mayor c**kups, especially no leaks lol :cool:

Mounting the rad took alot of customisation as you can see but I am really pleased with the way it turned out :).

Only fookup by me was as I bought closed corned fans but not to worry that problem was sorted with the help of a junior hacksaw lol ;)

Oh and dont worry any coolant you see is just drips from the funnel.

I just need to finish of the cable management tomorrow :)
 
Sweet! I miss messing about with PCs, always wanted a watercooled one.
 
bloody hell 6 fans to cool your cpu

hope it's overclocked to the limit.

also where did you get the water cooled bits from as i need some bits for something i'm building?

Should get back into it. Yep so did I and I thought this was the best system to build my first watercooled setup :)

Not yet as its still leak testing. If my tems are good which I expect they will its going to be overclocked to hell lol

BTW the Yate Loons are fooking awesome fans. Alot quiter than I thought. Best to be on a controller :)
 
Ive been considering customising and watercooling a 360.

Have build several PCs but never tried watercooling, How did you find it mate?

Was this your first set-up?

I was the same mate, I have built loads of systems over the years but never watercooled any.

Yes this was my first :o lol
 
TBF quads don't usually clock as high as duals, but since his is an extreme, it should sail past 4Ghz on water. Man the f.uck up Adam.
 
heres a question, why dont people tec the processor.

+20c on one side and -20c on the other side
 
Have you lapped your CPU yet? Should see even lower temps ;)

Great build however, i havn't built a pc in ages!

My E6300 @ 3Ghz does my fine still.
 
Currently running at a stable 4GHz with idle temps of mid 30's and stress temps of high 40's to 50 :)

I do plan to try and get to 4.5 but will do that another day :)
 
Good stuff. I've seen it fail after 8 hours though :o

Still, your temps are good so I don't see a reason for any problems. If you needed more vcore it would have likely failed long before 3 hours.

LOL just to think when it was on air it hit the 80's
 
I need to run mine on water. I'm CPU limited in a few games and I'd like to go for 4Ghz+ as I know my chip will run it on water.

Spending too much money on car parts and track days at the moment though :o

I may do it at some point, or I may wait until I build TheMonolith™
