I've just got a space knocked out of mine, not had any hassle for it, yet!

Don't think it's too bad tbh as i've not added them in anywhere else and that and see plenty about that are lots worse!

I've got private plates on both cars, L90 NAD on the Clio and L80 NAD on the Mercedes. Cheap at £250 each from DVLA, they are for my wifes name, Nadine, (she's called NAD by most mates). People say I should space my digits on the Clio so it says 'L 90NAD' (GONAD), but I just say B**locks.

Hardly ever drive the car with the black plates.

the black plates are worth 3 points per plate, so not really worth it.

Quite partial to private plate left as bought (no italtic, funky bullsh!t) as it really finishes a car IMO! I was very lucky with mine as having a common name they usually start at £5k!

My names Tom & my last name begins with an L so apart from the pesky 8 its a good fit & it was only £250!
