Random Walk Shots

Got stupidly bored looking/applying for jobs this week, so I set myself a small challenge.

Armed with only a 70-300mm attached to the camera I wasn't going to wander more than half a mile from my house, luckily I live in a pretty area (ish) Decided just to go down one path behind my house and maybe go in the opposite direction tomorrow.

All shot with Canon 450D + Tamron 70-300 f4/5.6 Macro.

Worried I was going to be kittys tea.

Do you prefer any section of photography, like motors, outdoors ect.... or just anything?

Great shots Gregg, i always get bored thinking i have to somewhere further afield to take photos and i've never really taken any shots within walking distance, its a good idea.

The cat scared the s**t out of me, appeared from nowhere.

And I caught it from the best angle with the least amount of objects in from of it, couldn't be helped.

I like shooting cars mainly gally, but will try anything really, especially models

I like it because it forces me to be creative, and look at things differently.

I used to do this at uni, got so fed up doing work that I used to just wander around for a bit with the camera.

Great shots bud, the bokeh on the berries shot is so silky smooth! Like the pathway through the trees as well.

Lovely pussy shot tbh, shame about that tiny bit of grass but i don't think it loses much from it.

Thanks to your thread I think I have found something to do with my jobless days. Walking and taking pictures seems appealing now.
