Only downside so far imho is the in car cockpit - you can't move the right analog stick to look about (in cockpit) & also the hands on the steering wheel don't turn the wheel enough on full lock.
Other than that, its a brilliant game :approve:. Pre order hear we come.

Well it's supposedly 2gb, more like 2kb most of the time. Our area has shockingly s**t broadband speed, coupled with being on Tiscali, who are useless c***s.

One thing I noticed on the vids that I had missed before was that the cars are reflected on the bonnet...thats pretty impressive...next gen will probably have proper reflections in the bodywork so when you are next to a car and look towards it you can see your cars reflection...fm3 is s**t now...fm4 is where its at

So I've waited 90 or so minutes for a disappointment? 90% now.
It'll get you in the mood, but 2 laps of the same track is quite boring.

I know what you mean there, Tezza. It's very limited. I keep going back for 10 minute blasts. It is worth the effort, as the handling is so rewarding when you're on it. I'd go as far as to say it's better than GTR on PC. Difficult to gauge but, certainly the drive is just as in-depth.
Initial Impressions. Quite hard to get a proper drift going. Graphics are mint, like the rewind system, handling feels fine to me, a tad heavy maybe if being picky. Haven't managed to roll a car yet though

Thats what im not liking with the controler but i think it would be minted with a Wheel !
Drifting is a good laugh. Teaches you steering and throttle control.
I'm know it slows you down. And since when was drifting not about control?
Scutch, I find cockpit view quite hard to use TBH.

How are people fairing for times in the Porsche? I can't do any better than 1.04 with just ABS & manual box

Got a 1:03:525 with no assists and manual box. Still plenty of room for improvement.

I just did 1:06 but it was far from a clean lap
Thats all aids off except ABS. Manual gearbox with no clutch.
Same assists as I'm running. I keep struggling with the last corner, and the left where you brake after the brow of the hill. As soon as I get those 2 corners dialled my times will drop.
