Decent priced HD ready TV?

Thinking about getting one as I've just bought a 360 Elite, preferably a larger one (30"+) but for a decent price. Is this possible?

Also, is there a lot of noticeable difference between 1080 and lower ones?

I got a Toshiba 32" 1080p one for about £500 last year. Perfect. I'd go for a Tosh or a LG. The Samsungs at the low price range are s**t tbh, my dad got one and quickly regretted it upon seeing my Tosh!

Oh and Panasonics are pretty good!

I would say get one on 0% finance and get a more expensive one, HD ready is obviously 720 and ur xbox is 1080, you notice it on games but 720 is max on sky atm

Don't be blinded by 1080 and 720.

Do you have a branch of Richer Sounds near you?

Go in there, talk to a salesmen, tell them what you want, done.

£500 is a little to much at the moment, I was thinking £350 tops? Or am I talking b****cks?

Most 32" TV's which were £500 a year ago can be bought for under £400 today. There are some good bargains out there. As mentioned previously Richer Sounds are worth looking at, they sent me a email today with their current TV deals and had some bargains there.

Are there any that might interest me ;)?

Bump for the above, coz I'm actually gonna buy it tomorrow if it seems alright. It's the one on the Currys site which I can't access at the moment if someone can check it out!

As said many times. 1080p isn't really worth it unless you are sitting a foot away from it at that size.

The LG and Tosh look good! As does the Sony. As i said, at this price range avoid Samsung like the plague. Not so good picture quality, and tinny sound. My Tosh is incredibly bassy for a flat screen! Not sure how the newer models compare
