RS Tuning rolling road day - RESULTS here

  Titanium 182
It would be limited by your network connection not your computer :rasp:

These torque figures seem high compared to mine ? :( Mine was 142 I'm sure.

phase 1 172 reg Y948 GCL - de-cat and itg panel made 160.7 bhp and 147 lbsft of torque

Think I pretty much failed as well with the high running temperature, i gave it a blast up the road to get the cold start limiter off and left it running outside for about half an hour running, it took it a good 15 mins of driving to get the temp back to normal, so may have been a tiny bit dwn on power but im pleased with it anyway

ah, not bad then. Though it was a 1*2 running on 3 cylinders ;)

even paul thought i was a 172 till i corrected him :rasp:

nahh its slower than that....

and its not bike carbs, its fireblade ITB's as its injection, still using the bike injectors too :D

Surely all the torque readings were high weren't they? Not taking the piss but the bhp seem low and the torque high....as the above on....166bhp might be around the right for std but with the mods I wouldn't have thought so...but somehow 5 or so lbft more than standard

Chris

realnumber 1 - 172 (CN53***) Powerflow Catback and ITG filter - 162 bhp/141 lb/ft

As i said in the other thread wish I hadn't let it get too hot:dapprove:.

I disagree, mine came out pretty much as I expected.
Seems the same view as most tbf, suppose its better to have genuine readings than over readings to make the punters feel good.

Did the vectra and nova go on in the end?

I think they where spot on... and I am sure 99% of people on here will agree!

people are always disgruntled when there cars don't make what they "expect" ;)

Not my car fella...and it isn't bhp figs I was questioning but the lb/ft ones....people also assume that because figures are low they are accurate but as we all know every RR is different and it is just a bit of fun after all

Yeah I think people who have had there cars done before and seen the results today think there wrong. 172's on general made a little less than 182's which is right but on here there's always gonna be doubters. Even though there was 20 clios there today but ofcourse I'm wrong.

I can't wait to get mine to the next rolling road day :D
It'll take some beating methinks.

Whats that about?! lol

As I said I know that RR results vary by loads but whatever you might think if almost every car is low on power but high on torque then something looks odd..my car wasn't there so it isn't me moaning because my power is down so I look daft down the pub.....if there was a RR day where everyones bhp was slightly above what was expected there would be a queue of people on here who weren't there saying that it was the RR at fault

Just saying there was 20 clios there so on the day these are the results, there not wrong and nothings at fault it was same conditions for every1. I think the results were very consistant which you'd see if every1 posted there results.
I was very happy with my result and a standard trophy ran 1hp less very similar.

Thats the point I'm trying to make tho m8...I haven't seen all the results but I bet they all have higher torque than you would expect which would point to the rollers...if some were around normal then the individual cars would be the reason.

Thanks Jord, last time my car was on a set of rollers my camera messed up and tricked me into thinking it was recording

Look forward to seeing it on vid :)

What's normal though? As 1 Clio made 145ftlb of torque and andy thought it was low and he would know as he deals with these cars everyday.
