Pads & Discs

My 172 has just failed it's MOT due to front brake inbalance.

I was thinking of upgrading the front discs and pads anyway.

I believe Brembo HC's and Fedoro DB2500's are what people are raving about at the moment?

Seem a bit pricey?

My mate reckons the Brembo's are over rated? EBC discs?

Where is the best place to get these from?

Ive tryed lots mate and the Brembo Hc's and DS2500 are by far my fav.

Brembo HC discs are pretty cheap from GSF, wouldn't touch EBC discs.

Just get some cheaper pads is your not taking it on track. £65ish on discs and £40ish on pads isn't bad.

I'm looking at £300 on the megane for a basic set-up.

Standard Drilled Discs are £265 + P&P from K-TEC and £200 from worldsapart.co.uk

Standard Pads are £95 + P&P from K-TEC or £137 for DS2500 or £75 for standard Brembo's from worldspart.co.uk.

So i'm looking at £400+ or £370 from K-TEC or £300 for standard set-up from worldspart.co.uk

Can you guys supply any cheaper?

Tarox G88 grooved discs are good. Think they retail at £190 but I paid £130 for them. :approve:
