182 Exhaust on 172?

  172 Cup, 1.2 Grande
How easy is this conversion? Is it just a fact of removing spare wheel and cutting holes in rear bumper?

Or is there more to do then this?

You need to cut out the boot floor and replace it with a 182 one, this needs to be welded in.

But aside from that its easy. (You'll need the entire exhaust too Manifold, Cat the lot.)

A lot more, I reckon!

Iirc, the rear floor-pan of the 182 is unique with it not having a spare wheel well - as you mention. Personally, I wouldn't even bother.... and that's before you get into cutting out arches in the rear bumper.

Why bother? They are nothing but trouble, they never sit right in the cut outs etc.
