Thought I'd post some pictures up of Gemma's Arden blue Astra GSi turbo. Was bought with 49k miles on the clock, completely standard (200bhp) and in tip top condition other than a few kerb marks on the alloys. Was only £4k too so think we got a bargain, really. Anyway, obviously not to everyone's taste, but it does the job. One of the usual locations for my photo's :

I personally think it would look better lowered, but I think the modifying scene has now passed Gem by completely. Definitely a good motor, though, and certainly changed my perception of them, both visually and mechanically

I've just been looking at these on pistonheadsas i want something a bit more stealth than the clio. I was looking more towards the sri turbo as its not got the big spoiler etc. That looks very nice and you got it for a good price.

Always liked these. Great engines, lovely seats and in the best colour too. Just needs retrofitted Xenons.

They're hardly stealth though! Even the SRI Turbos come with that big rear spoiler.

It probably isn't the best, but I've no frame of reference, really, coming from turbo cars.

I would say on a par with how much my clio uses to be honest. I certainly didn't find it overly thirsty especially on a run.

My old dears 2.0T convertible used to do about 25-27mpg so no, not great.

Yeah we thought it was a bargain at the time. Private sale, so snapped it up. Will probably sell for a bit more.
