After seeing topgeartom's plate thread I ordered some pressed ones for myself!

They clean the front and rear up alot and make the plate holders look acceptable :rasp:

Also fitted them properly as they were screwed in through the plate! :nono:

Also did something quite neat... After seeing britishtaxdiscs.co.uk I really wanted something retro cool like this but didn't want to pay £25 so a bit of time in Photoshop and voila

Aye, it was in Winton! Next couple streets down from Frederica Rd where I stayed for NYE!!

I have the normal tax disc in the window too but in the top right hand corner so Im still displaying and paying valid road tax.

M badges.....oofttt.. Not sure how much drifting you'll be doing...2.0l will be slow compared to the 172!

i had a 318i E30, looked mean on the Eibach springs. wasnt so much drift... more uncontrolled cornering.

Latest update has involved me sticking a 6 button OBC into the car

Got this from a scrapped 325i locally thanks to R1XPH ripping it out of the car!

I put it in on the weekend but got majorly pissed off as it's a pain in the arse to get the dash clocks sitting right again so I finished the job off today!!

No pics unfortunately of my own but this is what it looks like:

Gives me outside temp, time and date all digitally whereas before I had just an analogue clock!

Yes, just connects to temp sensor through bonnet and into back of dash clocks for power

Yeah OBC on board control/computer.

Not as desirable as the 13 button but still nice to have nonetheless

Small update again!

Got some new Alpine speakers yesterday so replaced the ugly JL Audio ones and also fitted the retro speaker covers to the rear.

Quick snapshot of my little OBC and standard gearknob.

I did fit the SE lip to it but the valance is slightly bent so I need that sorted out by a bodyshop at one point.

I'm also an avid Dr Who fan sadly so I saw this sticker on eBay and HAD to buy it...

And last but not least, my stereo wiring is f**king awfully bodged up and I will never get my head round it! But I did manage to wire my electric aerial in. I got so excited I took a video...

Shame about that awful stereo - I used to have a 'period' Sony tape deck with 6-disk changer, but got rid not long ago!

Car looks ace though. Do quite like them...

That Stereo needs throwing in the bin. Ruins the interior. Too many stickers for me too.
