little lumps under paint, what is it.

on the front 2 wings and back 2 panels there are a load of little hard lumps under the paint, its a mk2 ph1. what could it be?

could be its Renault were talking about, it never been in an accident as i can see or ever been re-sprayed. ive poked them with a pin and they are really hard.

ye its under the paint you can see and feel them, ill take some pics in the morning to give you a better idea
