oh and just checked to see if it was fastpath or not and got these results :s

they shouldnt be all 0 should they ?

[Upstream (TX) Interleave path]
CRC: 0 FEC: 0 NCD: 0
LCD: 0 HEC: 0

[Downstream (RX) Interleave path]
CRC: 0 FEC: 52 NCD: 0
LCD: 0 HEC: 0

[Upstream (TX) Fast path]
CRC: 0 FEC: 0 NCD: 1
LCD: 0 HEC: 0

[Downstream (RX) Fast path]
CRC: 0 FEC: 0 NCD: 0
LCD: 0 HEC: 0

they shouldnt be all 0 should they ?

In the ideal world yes as they're just errors but in reality you'll always end up with CRC and FEC errors. From the amount you have it doesn't look like the modems been synced with the DSLAM for very long.

my attenuation is up 20/5 down
noise 7/25

its now

[Upstream (TX) Interleave path]
CRC: 0 FEC: 0 NCD: 0
LCD: 0 HEC: 0

[Downstream (RX) Interleave path]
CRC: 0 FEC: 100 NCD: 0
LCD: 0 HEC: 0

[Upstream (TX) Fast path]
CRC: 0 FEC: 0 NCD: 1
LCD: 0 HEC: 0

[Downstream (RX) Fast path]
CRC: 0 FEC: 0 NCD: 0
LCD: 0 HEC: 0

so is it fast path or not ?

Can't tell from those stats. They're just a count of errors.

Ping 85.236.101.3

If your pings are 20ms or less then you're on Fastpath. Above that you'll have interleaving turned on.
