Key Fob not working

I went to use my spare key today and when I pressed the button nothing happened, the car didn't unlock.

I checked the fob and the red light flashes when the button is pressed.

Has anyone else had this issue and whats best way to get it sorted?

New battery and sometimes they can lose there code mate.

The light will still flash even tho the battery is dead.

Ah right fair enough, so worth trying a new battery see if that works first.

I guess if that doesn't work last step is taking it to Renault?
