Daniel ClioSport Moderator Car Whichever has fuel Apr 10, 2010 #2 You've got an air leak on the inlet manifold I expect. If its a 182 you've not got cable throttle so its not that jamming anywhere. Take it all apart and put it back together again. Properly.

davebem Car Lots of Alfas Apr 10, 2010 #3 182 doesnt have a cable throttle, as above it could be an air leak or something isnt bolted down tight enough.

D dancook Car Clio 1.5dci Apr 10, 2010 #6 Thanks all, cheers fred. It was that oval ring that had fallen when I took it apart. Crisis averted!! Car is running fine again Don't go anywhere though, fitting my cat tomorrow.
