Exhaust uk in Sheffield, what do people know about them, good/bad etc. I know there in all the car mags etc n they did all the pimp my ride uk cars but they they really that good?

Booked in on sat morning for a sports cat fitting to my ktec ultra powerformance exhaust, getting rid of the decat. Too loud! Thought about putting a second hand standard cat in but after paying around £50 for one then delivery to me then fitting it's gunna b £100+ all together and this custom cat is 175 quid fully fitted. Thought it was pointless putting a secondhand standard cat in when it might need another putting in 6/12months down the line?

Any view welcome

anyone know if we get discount there too?

Ps would get a ktec sports cat but can't afford 300 quid plus fitting, plus am up north -the discount still too much. And am already insheffield on sat anyway

I've had 8 exhausts from them over the last 10 years - all been good quality
Had a £600+ system on my 309 gti, then loads of systems on my 106 quiksilver lol

The young lad there Matt is a top bloke

For that price I'm sure you'll be happy mate

I've seen a few cases of their work and it was absolutely shocking...

Exhaust hangers bolted through the car floor

Brackets welded onto the rear beam FFS!

Systems dropping to bits, baffles blowing after a few 100 miles etc.

But then I have seen some of the systems which are a perfect fit?!

All down to who fit's / jigs them, some of the guys there don't know their arse from elbow!

Thanks for that. Am a kinda guy who will take it bk if there is a scratch on it nevermind blowing so if it ain't right I'll go bk n bk again till it's right. perfectionist Customer I am lol

i know a person who has had 3 exhaust's for high power turbo'd engines and loved every one of them .
also another mate only takes his cars there , plus many others who are into the corse xe/let scene take there cars there .
and personally from what i have seen i would use them to .

Yeah they do sometimes drill boot floors but thats usually to fit extra mounts over factory standard

Every system I've had from them has had zero movement in it at all - not swinging all over like OEM kit

Also you can talk to the guy fitting it if you want and make any special requests you want - so you can tell them where you want the bends, what bore pipe - where you want the hangers - it's all good

But if you're just having a sports cat - just let them know how you want it to fit (connectors wise) - or they will probably just chop the middle pipe and flare it for a standard clamp

But if you ask them to cut the old connector off and weld it on to keep factory fit - they'll do that too

Currently sat waiting for exhaust uk to fit my sports cat. hopefully a better car in a few hours plus better mpg!

Only one prob tho. Quoted 175 n explained everything, turns out it's gunna b 220 now ffs!! Hate it when this happens. Can't go anywhere else as am an hour away home n this is the best place around. Couldn't afford 175 never mind 220 quid!

sounds so much better without the decat in my option! was just too loud with ktec unsilenced ultra zorst

they quoted me, 175 quid but once i got there it need the sensor hole making n flanges etc, as i wanted to keep the decat pipe to sell (if any1 wants it give me a bell)

Thats the problem with them quoting over the phone

They will generally as default just flare both ends of the pipe and clamp it to bits of the standard system they cut off - saves making flanges and OEM joins etc..

So if you turn up and want it all doing as a proper job - the price usually goes up a bit
But can't fault their welds or the fact that you can literally describe the entire thing to them and they'll make it

I will deffo go bk there if I ever need an exhaust etc. They r top blokes! Highly recommend any1 who needs exhaust stuff to go to them!

I second this, could do with knowing, however they quoted me 450 for a cat back fitted, which I wasn't too sure about cos I could get a milltek for cheaper

The thing thats driving me towards E-UK is the fact they can custom make the exhaust to how you want it to sound! but like you said, is it worth the extra pennys?

Well ive just gave them another ring, and for 400 fitted they do a single backbox 1 which is loud, and for 450 they do a twin backbox one like the milltek to quieten things down a bit.

Im not sure what to choose when i could get a milltek off ktek for 380 and get it fit pretty cheap.

may aswell go for the yozza or milltek one then cos it looks like thats what they seem to be basing there designs off, plus yozza and milltek are proven to be good products.
