Just saw this on the net, sounds pretty awesome, would this eradicate the need for steering wheels?

If it turns out to be accurate then I wouldn't mind giving it a go, but I don't see it matching the precision of a controller so you would always fall behind people using a controller like you do now using a steering wheel.

I'm pretty certain that the pad/wheel will still be required for the core part of the game.

to accellerate you move your right foot forward, to brake, your left back. to change gear you do a motion as if you were changing gear etc.

In that video, the guy playing was only controlling the steering. It was on auto accelerate and brake.
