Ive seen the panasonic TX-P50U20B

Im swaying towards the LG due to it having the freeview HD + allowing HD video playback via the usb port including .MKV's

Does anyone on here have either? or which would you choose from the two above?

Pay a bit more and get a Panasonic with Freeview HD & Freesat HD as well. Go to John Lewis, they are the cheapest and do a Price Guarantee for 28 days after your purchase. Plus all Panny's have 5 year guarantee at JL.

I had an LG 50" plasma think it was the PQ3000? that was until it fell off the wall. It was an alright tv, good value for money but can't play games on a plasma really.

You can yeah, but it will scar as they run too hot is what I meant i.e not ideal.

Or maybe this is just my LG, played COD on it once for a few hours and it impinted the screen for months.
