Urgent..passenger window won shut!!

Anybody know places in Essex around Laindon area to fix my passenger window?

I can hear the motor going when I press up and down but the glass does not move

Need to find some where asap to go and get it sorted

That will be the stupid little clips on the window mine did this i doubt you will find somewhere to fix it today cus full new motor needs to be ordered. i pushed the window up as high as i could with my hands then stuffed folded bits of cardboard behind the window to push it tight against the seal.

New motor?:dapprove: how much did that set you back?

How do you get the door card off to get to the window mate?

umm it was about 120 fitted think the motor was around 70 pound. i dont know i tried gettin the door card off and couldnt work it out my self i took off all the screws i could see but still it wouldnt budge maybe someone else can tell us both ?

I tried to get the door card off an old cavalier once got angry after 5 mins and ripped it off using various object - not good I'm too impatient.

Used the guide on this link http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?394322-FubarNet-Guides to take the door card off to see the wires were wrapped around each other and completely fooked!!!

Then I will then use this guide http://www.cliosport.net/forum/show...Window-Mechanism-Replacement&highlight=Window to replace the electric window mechanism.

Just need to find a complete window mechanism now.

I've no idea weather this is relavant to clio's....

But I ordered a window reg for a Laguna from Renault. £220 plus vat iirc.

I then ordered one from GSF and got it for £80 plus vat including delivery. So deff shop around!
