1.2 16V burning smell + front wheel hot!

Hi guys, anyone offer a solution to this i would be thankful.

Been out for a run, happened last week too, plasticy burning smell is quite strong and the drivers front wheel is too hot too touch. Can't even hold your fonger on the wheel bolts its that hot. Anyone got an idea? Discs, pads binding? wheel bearings? :S

Could be the caliper binding together. This happened to one of the rear brakes on my williams the wheel was red hot and eventually the disc cracked in half lol.

My 1.2 16v has been starting to smelly a bit like burning, I'm blaming it on the snow for the moment.

But what StevohC! said.

Jack the wheel up and see if it spins freely, should feel reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal rough & notchy if the bearings are fubar? Are both wheels getting warm or just one?

Possible caliper seized due to faulty slider seals/profound amounts of salt...

Just rebuilt the front calipers on my CBR4 due to sticking caliper probs. :dapprove:
