it has just taken me 7 hours to get home from middlesbrough to stevenage

managed to pick up a puncture and had to be towed home the last 240 miles pissed off is not the word !

really do think these sports need a spare wheel

as the tyre foam done f**k all

Tell me about it, i had a puncture about a month ago tyre foam just doesnt cut it tbh ok for limping short journeys but anything more you may aswell walk.

You'd be wise to invest in a spare wheel if your going to be doing long journeys.

yea had one for years then sold it lol school boy error, just looked at the tyre 7 inch gash ! so was pretty lucky

it gets even better the rac came out under my lloyds account insurance and , just been looking now there cover is now with the AA lol

i can see me getting a massive bill

What the towed you home?

Last time I had a blow out I asked them (aa) to send me a mobile tyre fitter

£55 and an hour later was back on road

Did you not contemplate doing that

I never carry a spare I do 500 odd miles a week LOL

it was new years day and the best they could do was 100 for a budget tyre which was still 40 miles away , loaded on to a truck and a long slow drive home
