ABS and Service light just came on

evening all, on my way home from work just as i pulled up outside the house the service light popped up and the ABS light. Seems odd that both would come on at the same time, any ideas? I turned the ignition on and off and the lights were still there.

Any ideas people?

Nope, it'll be either a cracked ABS ring, or broken sensor.

Check out the ABS rings first of all, if that's not helped, you'll have to get it diagnosed at a garage. No point faffing around replacing bits first.

Even if the diagnostics says its a bad sensor it might just need the connections cleaning on it.

They get dirt in them and alter the resistance iirc. Anyway, doing that has fixed mine twice without having to buy expensive sensors, not had an abs light for over a year now

Behind the brake discs. They look like cogs, you'll only be able to see the fronts though
