How does the RS compare, mate?

I think the RS was a good move from the Trophy, it has similar handling characteristics to the Clio.
You will go a long way to beat the Trophy handling and the Clio was a better Daily driver due to running costs,
but being only 19 my insurance on the RS was £200 cheaper than the Trophy:eek:

I'm not sure you've made the right decision mate.

And i'm the Ford nut on here!

The Clio went because I got offered a price I couldn't refuse, the looks you get in the RS are priceless, my RS has many mods which make it a great car, at 212bhp out of the factory i think it would be a little underpowered?
i suppose it just personal preference.

Fair point mate, they are pretty brutal imo and I hink i'd miss the fun handling as i'm not into straight line speed as such.

They are cracking cars don't get me wrong, I recently detailed my brother-in laws and drove it for a couple of days. On boost the petrol consuption made me weep.

yes the fuel is brutal when you are on boost, mine is running about 300bhp and only sees boost at the weekend, as a daily I drive it like a grandad!
The handling is pretty good tbf, alot better than many hot hatches out there, the Trophy is just something different.

In all fairness it was super clean it had done 46k when i sold it, im pretty particular and into my detailing.
It was a good car, Imperial blue is an awesome colour to machine polish, the rs will be gleaming soon.

Imperial Blue is a very rewarding colout mate, I have a few detailing threads on here and DW.

:o how are you 19 and driving a trophy then an rs!? I am painfully jealous!

i have just worked hard and built my way up, usually making money on my cars, previous cars include leon cupra r, astra gsi, astra 1.9 sri xp...

I wouldnt bank on making money, not losing is about the best you can hope for IMO - if going by the amount that are for sale
I bought it very, very reasonable, if i break even it will be the first car that i haven't made on.
We will see tho;)

Cop where have you been I carnt beleave how quick you sold that trophy. When are you comeing for a spin?????
