Until it's glasses free I still think it's a pointless, expensive fad.
From what I've read, polarised cinema 3D is not as good as active shutter. I've got a 3D set and it is frankly amazing. Games in 3D are where it's really at though.
What's that dude?
Well im going to get the 55" Samsung you've got. Because of your thread. But if I'm spending that money i don't want something new to come out too soon!
So we have one person saying it's s**te with games and another saying it's good!?
Sweet, although keep in mind that those type of stores are pretty crap for testing out AV stuff. If you're SRS about a purchase I'd try looking for an AV specialist with a proper demo room.
Cheers Roy, Kind of you.
I have a small fact of telling the girlfriend that we'er not going on a summer holiday to Florida because i want a new TV when our current one is absolutely fine lol.
Is your current TV 55"?
Exactly.
Do. It.
This really. Glasses are far too expensive to own a set big enough for your family and friends to watch a film together. Even then it's not 3d as we know it, 3d at a cinema is in a different league and then there's the likes of COD in 3d... yeah thanks I really want the scoreboard yet virtually nothing else in 3d xD
