Sticky cable throttle

Car  350z, Subaru Legacy
Hi, just had a new set of tyres fitted, so was driving around to 'run them in', well just any excuse to drive really tbh.

Anyway - full throttle the pedal stuck to the floor! (cable throttle btw) then pinged back up, did this a few times then seemed to be ok after 4-5 times of doing it.

Had a good look in the footwell, everything seems to be moving smoothly :S

I'm pretty sure the mat was out of the way so shouldn't have been catching on that...

Any ideas of why it may be getting stuck?

Olnt just seen this thread, but the same thing happened to me on the motorway after i had had my car Mapped. Deffently a brown pant moment. I just sprayed a bit of WD40 on the spring mech on the itb's and it never happend again :)

But looks like you've had a crash from your avitar to maybe my suggestion was too late!
