clio v6?

25 if you're gentle, 6 if you're trying ;)

as a driving experience you won't get anything as "special" hard to describe, every drive is eventful!

Even a passenger ride in one feels special. If I had the budget to have one as a garage queen weekend toy, I would.

You can easily manage 30mpg if you drive conservatively. Had three now, the Phase 1 is the more hardcore and presents the best value for money IMO.

Amazing cars overall and pull incredible amounts of attention. Just remember 2 things before buying one:

1. They don't make good daily rides; and
2. Body parts, full set of discs/pads and cambelt changes all cost over £1k a time so save at least £100 a month for maintenance!

has anyone got one of these ?

opinions on them?

i get 31 miles to the gallon on my 182 what will this be!?
where you from? a lad on here called ash has got 1 "v6clo" is his name....if you go on facebook, type in cliosport chester

Im still high level jelousy of an itb'd V6 and Dynacup - no fair

You done the rear axle on cup yet? Sorry for thread hijack!

My cars gives me that ball tingle that Fred is talking about, every single drive in it is an event. The V6 is even more epic, I was lucky enough to drive one in the dry yet you didn't actually have to drive it hard to enjoy it.

I was also surprised with the fact that the engine noise (standard) wasn't actually that introusive. I did see 9 mpg flas up and 21 Iain said was "good".

Fantastic machine. MK2 in Lilad Blue please. Sadly it's "one" of those cars that will remain a pipe dream. A lotus Exige is more practical than the V6 imo.

I have been told by a few people that have owned these that performance wise they are quite slow. Not half as good as they look.

I'll own one one day... and yes they're not super quick but er hello you're driving a Clio with a V6 in the boot - recipe for big grins all round. Until you're forced to do a 3 point turn

you have to know how to drive them, takes a good 6months to really understand what its all about, quick car if you're brave, 95% of owners aren't though which is understandable seeing as a bumper will cost about £1500 fitted and sprayed!

Wouldn't go that far! I can't get into an exige without injuring myself lol.

I love mine best car Ive had wont be getting rid off it anytime soon if anything I want two. but if you thinking about you mpg forget about it!!!! mine sits at about 16-19mpg the best ive seen is 26mpg and ive had it down to about 5mpg. There are fast you just have to be brave. I do think renualt could have got more out of the v6. O and it makes you smile everytime you go out in it.

I followed one around Oulton park in a 197 once. It was damp and it fell off infront of me going into Druids, backwards into the gravel. Funny times.

I heard one caught fire once.
