Potential Ph1 Bargain?

First off, im not sure where to put this, so ill whack it in here, as I think it is on ebay or somewhere, but my mate hasn't provided a link yet.

He's basically bought a new car and is picking it up on Monday. If it hasn't sold by then, he'll be trading it in, so needs a quick sale.

Quick details:
Ph1 172 (2001 X reg)
Normal ph1 spec. Leather seats, air con, oz f1 wheels etc.
63000 miles (quite low for age)
Recently had new tyres
6 months MOT
4 month tax
I think it is totally standard.
From what ive seen, the car does look in good nick. He says that it drives perfectly, but as ive never been in the car or know nothing about mechanics, I cant comment on this part.

Im posting it on here, as id rather someone on here grab a bargain, than a dealership rape someone on price.
Tbf, if this was a year on, id have probably bought it.

I think I had the same argument with the previous owner - isnt your reg RYU or something?- No recaros & a stone chip on the bumper

What are the dealer offering on trade? i would suggest a fair bit less than £1500, best off asking for £100 over trade, probably sell it that way and make £100

Oh and im the first owner of this car (unless im reading what you said wrongly).

Gray, yes, it's Payandeh's. He doesn't need a car anymore, so him and his wife are sharing a new Mini between them.

Dealership have offered £1200 for it I believe, so I guess if anyone offered more than that, they'd be happy.
(I think it is FSH, so one would assume that it has had its belts done)

More than what someone like yourself would be willing to pay tbh.

In all seriousness though, id have to work out how much was left on the finance and then add a bit on to buy the Sunflower (if the owner was willing to sell), so basically it would be more than what a trader would want to buy it for id imagine.
(Unless you had a mint 1*2 and wanted to go swapsies and clear the finance)


Im not actually wanting to sell it if im honest, as I love the car to bits. Its just that I think it may make sense to sell before the market is flooded with them in a years time.
