What effect? No photoshop, a bit of filter work

For the two in portrait format, a hitech 0.9 and 0.6 ND grad stacked, and the landscape format the 0.6 ND grad

Thanks, nope, only used CS5 to straighten the horizons as they were slightly out, and to add my name to the shots.
