Engine Oil

Car  Clio 172 Cup
Car needs the oil changing. It is going to be used mostly on track. Been on Opie Oils and the following are getting recommended:

Gulf Competition 5W-40
Millers Oils CFS 5W-40
Silkolen Pro S 5W-40
Motul 300V 5W-40

Is it going to make a difference which one i put in or are there others ppl would recommend?

Cheers

Check out the search button, literally hundreds of threads on engine oil recommendations.
Could consider the Renault Elf SXR 5w-40 too

519 Automotive on here do a deal on it with oil filter etc.

It's probably a good idea to get a fully ester based synthetic oil if its majority time is on track, and i think all the oils you posted are exactly that, so i doubt you can go wrong with any of them.

As Laine 16v said Ester based is the better option.

All the options you mentioned above are Ester based iirc

If you are going to change it often, just get something more routine & change it more often - if you'd like to fit & forget get one off your/their list.
