Will an RSTuner show all fault codes or just those for purchased modules?

I have just bought an RSTuner and the airbag module to turn off the airbag lights due to buckets. I have also cleared some old fault codes.

I still have the service light on and the ABS light. Phil (Doncaster_K9) had this diagnosed as a faulty rear ABS sensor on a Reault clip when he had the car.

Im replacing the ABS sensor now but why is there no fault code stored for this?

Do I need to buy the ABS module to show and clear the code or will it self clear?

Itl self clear when a working sensor is put in. Well mine did anyway.

Have you double checked with an oscilloscope to make sure the sensor isdefiantly not functioning properly?

It could be the wire from the front so you need to test it at the rear plug, unless you are happy to spend the money on a sensor and give it a go anyway.

Excellent. Thanks Hipwell.

Donny had it diagnosed on Clip. They did say it could be a wire that's split along the length but I'd rather just change it for the cost.

Never thought about the wire running to the front though. I'll have a look at that.

They (DDC) said it could be an open circuit, rather than a sensor failure - and said they'd do the diagnostic work (tracing wires etc). When I mentioned the engine change, Lee looked at me a bit funny and asked if I was 'sure' I hadn't clipped/cut/moved a wire.... I can remember one wire that we didn't disconnect before dropping the engine out of the bottom. It obviously pulled and threaded, but I made sure to repair it. I'm 99% sure it was actually a sensor on the block somewhere - probably that knackered crank sensor come to think of it!

The CLIP managed to erase the fault from the ABS module, but when the car was turned back on (without moving) the fault re-occurred instantly. Hence, Lee thought it was more an open circuit, rather than a faulty sensor. He was just about to run the car around the block to check - as clearing the fault and then getting the wheels moving + applying the brakes should have caused it to register the fault. The fact it happened straight away, has got to be a wire/connector? Can you obtain a wiring diagram and check where it enters the loom at the front?
Or just take it to Doncaster diagnostic centre and get them to do it! whoop.
