Very popular mod, the 3.0.
It was the titanium theme in the GSI's. Matching effect on the speedo surround, switch surround, heater surround, and gearstick surround. Oh, and the gearknob insert too.
Very rare items included the handbrake lever.
2.6's had a solid metal polished gearknob.

The above car is NOT an ST3000. Its only an ST200 thats is very rare as it as pointed out by Paul built for vauxhall executive, It is now somewhere in the north of scotland but no one knows exactly where.
The ST3000 was very very special and there was only ever 3 made with people only knowing about 2 of them.
The ST3000 was a dealer special edition model. These started life as 1998 2.5 V6 GSi's but were then shipped back to MSD for more extensive modifications. These modifications included fitting a new modified 3.0 V6 "chevy" engine, AP 4-pot brakes, special stainless exhaust system, Recaros with full leather re-trim including back seats and doorcards, uprated suspension to the fully adjustable Koni setup as on the ST200's and so forth. They also came with a bar ready for quickfitment of a towbar including wired electrics.The cost new of the ST3000 was £30,000. Only 3 of these cars were originally built.
