197 door lock help?

hi people drivers side door lock, the button on the handle wont lock the door. passenger/ boot and key fob still works just door lock stopped anyone had this problem or no of this problem and no how it can be fixed other than a new one?

ah ok mate. im not sure yet not been to see renault about it im guessing it will be a rip off anyway!

I think it's part of the handle. So yeah, probably a rip off!

new door handle im afraid, they only did seperate buttons on the megane i beleive. you could always check the connectors for corrosion on the pins etc, the main plug is by the hinges and there will be one inside the door (behind the door card) next the handles mechanism.
