Wifi problems iPad & iPhone

Recently my iPhone 4 & iPad 3 have been unable to connect to my netgear dg834 v4 when they do they drop the connection randomly

As far as I can tell the laptops that use the same network are fine

Anyone else notices wifi problems with certain routers ?

No problems with my D-link...that I still need to upgrade but really can't be arsed.

i think the coverage is a bit flakey now its a shame as i love the dg834 & i cant find anything id consider suitable to replace it

i need something i can stand on its side
broadcom chipset
customizable Mac labels & management
reliable
doesn't get to hot
dns settings changed on the router
custom firmware would be nice for the nerd in me
nothing locked down & slow if you have used a techicolour tg582n with either o2/be you will know what i mean you cant change a thing

If its wireless N try setting it to 54mbps wireless rather than 100 or whatever it is

I did this, changed it to g and it's worked fine ever since.

They only 54g I've managed to update the fw which has helped

You could try different Channels if you get further problems.

My N600 is Dual band - I have the IPad on the 5ghz range and my iPhone on 2.4ghz as it doesn't do 5ghz - less interference/crowded on the 5ghz shame the iPhone can't do this frequency.
