Official CSEA September Meet - Rolling Road Day - Date & Time TBC

My engine is brand new... I need to run it in once it's running :) There's no way I'll be having it on the rollers, but I'll come to see you all :)
 
If you've just had it on rollers to be mapped though it must be run in, or is that just the base mapping.

It's staying for now Dom.

Been on Rindys rollers before so know what to expect, we can all be disappointed together.

Your car will be fine Dan, Rindys rollers on 2 wheel drive(FWD OR RWD), you will just have to reverse in if they are round the same way as last time.

Matt mentioned something about running it in for me... So don't know just yet, I'm only expecting a base map to run it in then go back for final calibration, we'll see what happens :)

Well im happy if ive stayed at the same power or gained very slightly from my new filter, according to Ktec I should have another 7-8bhp from it lol! We shall see :P
 
Ktec kit mate, will be fitting it with a mate, wouldn't mind a bit of help from you Dan if possible, will sort you out with some beer tokens:)

Was well impressed with what my 225 made before! Such a shame I no longer own anything worth running, was a great day last time (and a rather long one with Riches car refusing to start at the end ;)).

I should bring my 1.8 tdci focus along and really set the rollers going. :quiet::rasp:

May suggest hitching a ride with Lewis if his car is done...if not may come down in mine yeah.

I'll be lucky, booked this weekend off with the intention of getting my engine in, but subframe and lots of little bits are still at powdercoaters :( If they aren't done next week i'm getting them back and going somewhere else.

So i'll have to jump in the focus with you lol.
 
Seeing as i'll still be 16 i wont be able to drive myself there.. :/ and my car wouldnt be worth putting on.. i think i'd rather believe/dream it still has the 75horses it supposedly left the factory with!! However if anyone is going from stowmarket/needham area would i be able to grab a lift? i think it would be great to start to get to know some of you guys and hopefully pick up some tips etc.
Also i did some work experience at scholar so know rindy and the guys at scholar... not that thats important.. just thought i'd do some name dropping :P

lol.. i dont know him THAT well.. ;) tbh just looking to get to know you guys seeing as i just got my car so i can pick up anything i can like tuning tips/advice on what to upgrade etc, its all very well reading on here, but seeing the evidence annd seeing what it actually looks like is a lot more etc.... sooo.. any lifts going?? :P

I went to this place over the bank holiday and bagged myself half a Tesco carrier bag of pick your own chilli's for £6. They had everything from standard bell peppers to dorset nagas and everything in between. I'm not a big fan of McDonald's so I'll fill my belly with fire instead!

Is anyone coming from Peterborough/Bedford/Cambridge? Or can I tag along with the Newmarket bunch?
 
Do we have to dyno the car or can we just turn up to see this going on? mine was dyno'ed just before I bought it and it was sat at 182.8 horses :D

For £30 you can put it back on...in fact I will have £30 with you that on these rollers you don't get that result;)

Alternatively you can watch yes

Markerboy, where was yours done before? Rindy's is known to be very very reliable, although I imagine it has been recalibrated.

I'm still waiting for 100% confirmation :(
 
Not 100% sure, I'll have to go hunting for it. I'm just up for meeting a few of the others in the group as I've only been to a few meets. it'd be great to come down and see everything going on. Oh and it's Tom
