Update and piccies so. Sorted out the carbon wrap on the edges of the bonnet as they weren't exactly on properly and were sagging a little (my fault for not doing right in the first place!) and have her a nice clean.

Bonnet now wrapped properly,

Picture of the subwoofer setup I have in the boot its only a 12 inch JBL with an 'inphase' amp. Cost me £40 so I can't complain! Plenty good enough for me.

Cheers mate yeah a saving of £100 - £150 and IMO it looks good with the rest of the car. Couldn't be happier with it tbh

Ollie how much was the carbon wrap for the bonnet and what size etc? I'm looking to be buying the wrap at the end of the month but need to know how much and the best way of doing it etc any help would be fantastic mate and I'd say get a fat megane splitter on yours mate it suits the lowsssss

The sheet of wrap cost me £30 and with that I had enough for my bonnet obviously and plenty left over for say the spoiler or something else of that size il find you a link for it later when I'm home from work. Erm, I just watched a few videos on YouTube and gave it a go, I'd definatley reccomend 2 - 3 people to do it though! If you aren't far from me I may be able to come help you and bring my mate who helped me along splitter, I will change it eventually but I like my splitter and it's in v.good condition surprisingly enough! Once it's wrecked from scraping the floor il replace It

Riiiight, okay. Spinksy, this is the wrap I bought. I selected the '1500mm x 1500mm' option. Comes out at £30. Easily enough for the bonnet. Also leaves you spare if you wanted to wrap other little bits.

The wheels are wolfrace, but they're very rare apparently. I am having so much trouble finding info about them and spigot rings + centre caps that fit. A specialist shop told me that they had come accross 1 other set before, they were made as a limited edition set in Germany, only a couple hundred sets in the world and there are a limited amount in the country. *shrug* pain tbh as I want to find some centre caps that fit -.- look good though. A lot of people say they look like rotas lol.

Yeah mine should be done by then too. Il be there havnt got a massive amount left to do tbh.. Don't want to do anything crazy. Got a mate who is going to play around with the engine to get some more power out of it which should be good even if it's a little amount. Purchasing some tinted side repeaters tonight I think which will hopefully be here before the Guildford meet Friday!

So, had a lot of spending on the car recently. New clutch has been fitted and now the car drives SO much better! Also got brand new disks and pads on the front which were desperately needed as the front left was metal on metal! Safe to say I got the use out of the old pads lol.
Recent picture of my mates car and mine together. Nothing else has changed on mine yet but I'm sure something else will crop up when I have money again


Since these pictures have been taken, the backs been slightly raised and now sits ever so slightly higher then the front. Will get pics somewhen

Danman, im still after some black tinted repeaters but to be fair I have ready suggested the idea to him and he said no lol. Also his colour is different to mine as mine has a blue tint to it.
Kchristmas, did you see these advertised then on gumtree? Absolute bargain of a price for what they are! Do love these wheels was considering selling up and swapping the other day though idk yet

They were on for £135 in good condition apart from 1 curbed one and all tyres good. I've sprayed the curbed one since and now they're immaculate. Il let you know mate

Not much of an update but car had its first MOT since the crash and passed with flying colours, no adviserys. since then the coilpack failed on me but have a new one fitted and she's running spot on! Don't really have many more ideas now for the car really. Keep contemplating an exhaust system but I'm unsure. Also stuff like tinted side repeaters, but nothing major.
Any other suggestions? Before anyone says it, I will not colour code it as I like the black with the wheels and bonnet

What do you mean by inserts? unfortunately I'm not a massively fond lover of carbon wrap. I don't mind a little here and there but don't want to go OTT with it I've currently done bonnet and the interior dash strips.

Only done the bonnet to save £200 on spraying no other reason. It's grown on me since doing it though and still don't know which bits you mean! You'll have to show me a picture of them

theyre the grey plastic bits on the front and back bumper which if you spray the same colour as your car, people would say your car is colour coded!

Ohhh the bumper strips! I have considered spraying them satin black in the past and also thought about wrapping. Tbh I don't know if the wrap would look very good really? Could pick some 2nd hand ones up from a scrappy maybe and wrap them and have a look. The idea of them being satin black would make the whole car look a bit sharper?

It is tempting but I'm unsure I'd like it and it'd cost a fair bit in wrap :/ still have a bit of wrap leftover was planning on doing my spoiler sometime lol. Just never can be that bothered nowadays

I was thinking that a while ago actually funnily enough lol. But then on the flip side it does match with the other black bits. I want to get some of my paint code made up anyway as I am kind of considering painting my front brake calipers that colour oppose to the dark blue they already are. Also maybe the rear diamond button for when I spray the actual diamond black. Little things really lol. ALSO. The '16v' lettering, but not the whole bullets just the letters. That could look cool

you should get it done professionally mate, i colour coded my spoiler and side strips myself and really wish i got a bodyshop to do em! the finish it shite aha!

Not much of a real update tbh... Just took this picture of one of my wheels and realised how much I love them haha.

Can't think of much more to do with the car really. Am happy with it as is and don't really want to put more money into it. Insurance is going to sting me next month as I've had my accident so I'm just trying to save anything I can for that.

Updateee, kinda. Insurance, 2nd year driving with a claim against me = £676. Couldn't be happier really! Don't think I'm going to do much more to the car now apart from clean it!

Will probably sell it come the end of this years driving (10 month policy) , unless I still love it as much as I do now. Just have the need for a faster car ATM!!! Sucks having older mates with skylines, m3's and VXRs lmao.

Love this picture. Trying to get through this years driving now without fault or accident so I can upgrade to a 182. Pretty much made my mind up (could change, but doubt it), so this current car won't change now until the day I sell it. Safe to say I'm saving money like mad
