Camber bolts and shim help please

I have Sportline springs and I have downsized wheels to Oz F1s with R888s. Do I need camber bolts or not?

I was thinking they might help maintain more even tyre wear and be more suited for my track car. But I also use it for small a-b journeys as well as getting to and from the tracks also.

Are they too excessive for when I would put my road wheels back on for normal road driving? ? Creating un-even tyre wear rather than preventing it on smaller track wheels??

Also, same questions with camber shims for the rear? I assume they are good for track but will there be disadvantages when putting the standard road wheels back on for normal driving.

I've tried a few searches but nothing clears it up for me.

Cheers for any help.

Rear shims are not really needed unless its a race car.

Bolts will be fine, I had mine set at -2.5 degree and didnt notice a great deal more tyre wear.

Oh really that's good to know thanks.

So if I did set mine to -2 camber, it would it help the tyre wear on track (on hard cornering say), but not increase tyre wear on the road too much?

I know it's a compromise between the both. Just looking for a way to keep my tyres as flat on the ground as possible and seeing as the car doesn't get driven hard on the road it would probably be best to focus more towards the best setup for track.

What about changing wheels from 15s to 16s. Does this matter or affect anything?

cheers

Get camber bolts and set the front to about -2°. R888s will need more camber than standard to work.

Are Eibach Camber bolts a straight swap over from original bolts ??

Trying to find somewhere to get my geometry set up, AMD Essex said they might not be a straight replacement and extra parts might be needed. So I was asked to find out.

Most places I've tried wont allow a manual camber or toe out adjustment, they just work back to the cars factory settings which is annoying.

Cheers
