Homemade induction kit.

Car  clio 182
I have bought all the parts to make my own induction kit but I have a problem. I can't fit the filter in front of the battery. How have other people done it, by removing the battery?

I undid the battery and pushed it back as far as it would go. That gave me some room for the filter, and mine is far too big.

If your battery is a 075 part number then you have the bigger battery rather than the 063.

Same sort of size as mine, Mine has the excessive inner cone too. I just sprayed the crap out of mine with K&N oil to make sure it actually filters and squashed it in as best I could.

That looks very tidy Chip!

Thanks mate :)

My mrs is OCD about stuff looking tidy, she didnt do a bad job considering the conditions she was working in fitting the RS2 while it was pissing down and I had cars in the garages I was working on so she couldnt get into them with hers, lol.

aren't those cheap filters paper rather than cotton gauze? you don't want to be oiling a paper filter. You can't clean them either

I managed to squeeze my huuuge green filter into place with a bit of bending and cutting.
