Im getting alloys (TD Monza R) for my 03 Clio an was wondering what tyre sizes i would need for alloys of:

15"
16"
17"

7.0 would refer to the width of the wheel in inches. Sometimes expressed as 7J.

i'd go with an 8 inch wide wheel on the mk2 Clios.

195 40 16

Or 205 40 16

Too thin. 45 is the lowest profile you need to go to.

Iv ran 195 40 16 for ages nowon my 182 wheels, the outsides wear but i think this is due to them bein T1R's, however, for my turinis im really considering going to 205 40 16, i know they may not be as good as 45's but they look so much better, my car isnt used on track or even mental on the roads so its fine for how i use it, they still handle well.
