Nilfisk jet wash

Car  A special one.
Hi all, im going to buy a Nilfisk jet wash just wondered what one/model people recommend and where is the best place to buy.

Cheers Scott.

I've got the c115.3 and I'm happy with it. It also came with some accessories, the patio cleaner works pretty well. I got mine from machine mart for around £90.

Overall I'd recommend it.

Just look at whether or not you will use or need the accessories. To subsidise the price of accessories...the pw isnt as good as others. Although I spent 129.99 on a kit from Argos with all the gubbins and the pipe split after 3 uses. Upgraded to one with integrated hose reel.

I only wanted it to clean the cars tbh, maybe the drive way but that was not the main reason for buying one.

Good stuff, ill spend the extra then.

Cheers for the advice

Scott.

Its a good deal when you consider it was £230...I have tried to find a comparable price on internet and nowhere seems to beat it. Plus, it weighs about 20kg...so not exactly lightweight compared to the cheaper ones. 2 years warranty too.

Oh i didn't know it had 2 years warranty, good stuff!!!
And the £50 off is always good..;)

I think all Nilfisks come with 2 yrs warranty. All over £150 will do...whereas Karchers only have 12 months and refurbed Karchers are 3 or 6 months.

I am well impressed with mine.

Has anyone got the Nilfisk C125.3-8 PAD 1800W?

Don't really want to spend more than a ton so if its any good ill definitely get one.

Can't remember which I have, the smaller sized one. Only used it once so far as I hate washing car lol. But the one time I used it, it was great.

I'm trying to find one that will be good but not overly expensive. Having a hose reel seems to be the thing to look for?

What about this? http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7420449.htm

Or save some cash and go for: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7420315.htm

Any other suggestions?

Hose reel is essential IMO

I have a Karcher and the only issue I have is the hose and power cables have no storage system, so storing it is difficult and messy. The better Nilfisks all have power cable storage and hose reels which I really would find useful.

You'll need to consider getting the auto nozzle, as the nozzles that come as standard are quite powerful and may damage the paintwork. I just picked the auto nozzle up for £4.99 as regraded stock, much better than the £30 RRP, or the £17 Cleanstore want for a new one.

This one I bought came with 2 nozzles. Ones a high power one for cleaning patios etc and the other one is the adjustable one.

The low pressure detergent attachment is pretty good too. I put snow foam in it and although not as good as a proper snow foam lance it still worked quite well.

That's good to know, I have the same attachement but just assumed it would be naff and haven't bothered using it, but if it'll do the job then that'll be good enough for now, until I pay out for a decent lance.

Yeah I was surprised how well it worked to be honest. Don't get me wrong it's not perfect and I will be getting a proper snow foam lance eventually but this will suffice for the time being.

Yeah, I was planning on getting a proper one eventually, but was gonna wait until I had enough money to spend on a big all-in detailing order, rather than paying for delivery buying things bit by bit.
