Was a bloke on his way in a new Lp640 or somthing, he rolled it and wrapped it around a tree with his wife with him. Police had shut the road on the way back i went. People who were there have said it was pretty bad, engine wasnt really attached anymore.

Some nice cars there... Funny how that f40 attracts so much attention, i went to a car meet last night - mainly classics - and in the middle there was this 430 and literally no body looked at it. It just seemed boring.

Shows how special stuff like the f40 are in comparison to some of the newer Ferraris!

An F40 is in quite a different league to a 430........ The equivilent of the 430 at the F40 time was probably the 348. The F40 was the Enzo to the 430.

Barring a McLaren F1, I cant think of anything on its level. At a meet like this, I'd expect the F40 to get more attention than a Koenigsegg/Veyron/Zonda etc

Not a fan of Ferrari's, but the F40 is just special. Everything about it personified Ferrari. I think its more special than the Legendary 250GTO.

I never realised just how "common" the F40 was. 1300+ Made, compare that to the 399 Enzo's etc?

F40's look awesome in the flesh. You would never think a shape like that could be timeless. Interior shows its age but its simple enough to hold up.
