Is the 182 manifold worth fitting on a 172 for racing ?

I can't see there is much to be gained but some mid torque so is it worth it i have a 182 manifold but then ill have to faf about with the ktec decat or make my own

For racing probably yes, trackdays definetly no.

Well there is a gain from using one, but i am not really in the position to tell you how much of a gain. Might be worth talking to pete(toastfrenzy) or Tony about this one i reckon.

well neither of them run one, both with engines by me. I prefer the 182 manifold personally, but the difference isn't huge
