Struggling with 172 recessed exhaust.

I'm struggling to get the recessed exhaust all the way over the decat, the exhaust is sat 20mm out of the back bumper.
any ideas?

The center section going towards the engine side all of a sudden goes narrow, I think the supersport is hugging the narrow section so it wont go any further.

It's not as bad as it was but it's not as far up as i'd like it.
