Yah i investigated more last night, The sound is 100% coming from the cam cover. It was tight when i checked it but I'm guessing it's missing teeth/slipping - the water pumped could of seized up or something.
It's done 90k and i asked her if she ever had the cam belt done and she replied "no?"...
Ugh i have put it back in now.
I'm stumped, i don't have jump leads, i don't have a battery charger (if i did i couldn't plug it in), I'm not a mechanic, i got scared trying to swap batteries with my car (Multiplexed 206), i can't get it to a garage and i can't justify getting a mobile mechanic...
The belt is still there, and tight.
I was told on another forum to check the battery - i don't have a volt meter. Her battery has now ran flat anyway and the engine makes no noise at all when i turn the ignition over. The interior stuff comes on but thats it.

Just a quick question, i've done a model in Revit for a project - i have created a walkthrough however when i render it - the building sort of gradually appears as the camera moves closer? Like you can see some of it, then a bit more appears!
What would be causing this? I want the whole model...
Just came across this, might be of interest to some of the PC people. I haven't tested it, but i assume it works. My 360 is dead, but it might allow Forza to be played on the PC!

He could just wind down the window, but he may have changed it for some perspex.
On a serious note, looks awesome. Radiator shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Ravenholm scared me :(
Best game series ever though. Wish Gabe would hurry up and release the 3rd installment. HL 1 led me into CS, where i spent 8 years playing a game :(
